Fortunate Felines Mewsletter Donate Now! June 2022 Happy Summer and Solstice, to all our supporters and good humans!  Thank you so much for the overwhelming support you’ve shown Lucky Cats Rescue over our first year since inception.  We could not do it without YOU, and all of the kitties in our care are sending purrs and headbutts your way.  AND thank you for checking out our cool new Mewsletter!  Enjoy! LCR News! Over the spring, we worked our little tails off.  We sewed, we stuffed, we baked, we ironed, and we even grew plants to bring you our May 1st Sidewalk Sale for the one-year anniversary of Lucky Cats Rescue’s existence.  We had SO much fun getting to see so many familiar faces, meet some new ones, and, of course, wear cat ears all-day! We also saw a few of our fosters go to their furever homes!  Larry, famous for her growlin’s, went to her furever home at the end of April, and after a bit of a rocky start, she continues to settle in and decide her new humans aren’t so bad, after all.  Mama and Papa Bear were adopted at the beginning of June after coming into our care, along with Baby Bear in February after the death of their owner.  While Baby Bear flew the coop soon after their arrival, Mama and Papa took a little bit longer to find their furever home, and we are so excited that they get to start their Happily Ever After.  May Sidewalk Sale We made an ASTOUNDING $7,675 all thanks to you, our equally astounding supporters!!  You’ve all successfully blown our minds, and you have no idea how much we and the kitties appreciate you.   At the sidewalk sale alone, our volunteers rang up over 70 orders, and the online sales have really helped push us closer to our goal of $10,000 for this promotion!!   Amanda’s Honeybees and Flowers kick sticks are currently the top seller, with the artist series sticker packs and the lightweight hoodies coming in as a close second and third. And don't forget, all the apparel is now back in stock too!!  Go check out our online fundraising store and get something for yourself today! Available for Adoption! Luna & Cosmo Luna and Cosmo are a sweet bonded, brother/sister pair who have been together since they were just babies.  Cosmo is a big handsome guy, and Luna is a petite sweet pea. They are playful, loving, and ohh so precious! At no fault of their own, their previous home had become too stressful for them, and their owners wanted to give them a chance to have a home they can truly be at peace together. They are both great with children, but Luna gives a hard pass on doggie friends. Cosmo has an allergy to chicken, but has a great appetite for the food he can eat! They are looking for a furever home together.  May the stars align (ha, get it?), and bring these two their best new family!
