It's 2024, and the Dental Days have arrived!
Joplin & McKernan are having their best New Year!
Today is the first of 2 dental appointments that are happening thanks to the generosity of all our donors! McKernan AKA Mr. M AKA Big Brotherrrs is up first as his teeth are the most severe of the 2 siblings. He is at his appointment today and the legend, Joplin aka Janis aka Janis Joplin, is scheduled for next week. We are so happy to see them get to this point and get the care they need.
But more importantly, they have found their new Mom!!
After many visits and lots of love and patience, Joplin & McKernan have been in their new home the last couple of weeks under a "Foster-to-Adopt" agreement until their dentals are completed and their adoption can then be as well! Anyone who has had the opportunity to meet these kitties here in the office know how much love they have to give, they are some of the most outgoing and happy kitties and deserve nothing but a warm, safe, and loving place to call home. After hearing the story of their adopters last rescue kitty, I couldn't be happier to know the amount of love she gave her previous kitty, she will receive back 2-fold.

I know sometimes those of us that tend to always want to go out of our way to help the kitties that need the most patience and understanding can struggle when we lose the ones we have given care for, and given so much for so long. Sometimes we need to be on the other side, let the kitties help us too, and I'm happy their adopter has opened her home and heart to 2 kitties that really did need a good human to adopt them but also receive the love they have to give, because its A LOT of love!!
She is smitten for these kittens, and how could you not be!! Congrats to all 3 of them for finding each other and starting this year off in a place full of love and toys!!
