Meet our warm and melty, Cheese 🧀

Cheese is the gooey half of the Comfort Kings, so soft and fluffy, just wants to melt into you and smoosh himself against your chest and shoulder. Just like his brother, Mac, Cheese is a lover. Although he can’t see you, he can feel your essence and will give you all the love you are willing to receive. In his spare time, he enjoys lounging in laundry baskets and making sure your hands are very clean.

Mac & Cheese came into our care in 2022 with the help of another amazing rescue. They were approx. 8-10 months old.
He wants to be held and put his paws on your shoulder so he can smoosh his face against your neck. He might even climb up on your shoulders if he feels you are tense and need a good neck rub.
Things that make noise. Things he can chase down the hall and make noise like a crinkle ball or plastic spring.
Meat tube mostly. Crunchy snacks you must put in your hand under his chin so he can find them.
Cheese is completely blind due to a bad eye infection when he was a kitten. His brother can see a tiny bit, but Cheese can't at all and enjoys chasing the other kitties with just his ears.

Cheese’s Rescue Story:

Cheese (formally known as Charlie), was rescued with his brother after being found on the side of the road with horrible eye infections. This amazing woman was on her way to the airport to go home but stopped to rescue them anyways. She was not able to bring them with her but paid for them to get the medical treatment and shelter they desperately needed. After many months of being at the hospital, she worked with another amazing rescue to get them safely to us where they can be cared for and loved for the rest of their lives.
