I have never met such an outgoing and loveable cat than, Mac. This dude is all love, all the time and is one part of the Comfort Kings of LCR with his brother, Cheese. And this boy can play too, whatever anyone is getting into, you can bet he will be there too! Mac’s job in life is to make sure you know you are loved and he is right here when you need him. He knows he is safe and cared for, and it is such a joy watching him enjoy life as a safe house cat.

Mac & Cheese came into our care in 2022 with the help of another amazing rescue. They were approx. 8-10 months old.
Mac must be snuggling you, sitting on you, or against you. He loves being held, climbing inside of your coat or hoodie, sitting with you on the couch and snuggling under the blankets when it's bedtime. Mac loves is all!
Anything someone else is playing with. Most things with feathers or fly. He loves the wand toys made in-house, he just loves anything that involves playing and someone playing with him.
He loves him some meat tubes, and can get down with the crunchy snacks but prefers when you just give them to him instead of trying to chase them.
Mac was a very nervous kitty and was easily scared and startled by other cats when he entered my care. Now he is thriving and co-existing with all of his brothers & sisters and loves meeting new people. Just doesn't love the car, can't blame the guy.

Mac’s Rescue Story:

Mac (formally known as Leo), was rescued with his brother after being found on the side of the road with horrible eye infections. This amazing woman was on her way to the airport to go home but stopped to rescue them anyways. She was not able to bring them with her but paid for them to get the medical treatment and shelter they desperately needed. After many months of being at the hospital, she worked with another amazing rescue to get them safely to us where they can be cared for and loved for the rest of their lives.
