Future Sanctuary Vision:

Lucky Cats Sanctuary, Grief, & Wellness Center

The Sanctuary will house and support cats needing continual medical, special needs, or specialized care. We will enhance their quality of life and happiness, and provide them with the lives they deserve. #luckyones

In the Sanctuary, we will create an environment specifically designed for the cats' care and enrichment, where they will all be able to live their best lives comfortably and always receive the care they need.

The Sanctuary will not only be a respite for our special needs cat community, but it will also be a space for our human community to visit, reflect, and find peace and joy while being supported through their struggles and traumas.

The outside of the Sanctuary will consist of a peaceful garden area in which visitors can find comfort and peace. They can watch the cats as they enjoy time in their Catio and enjoy the wide variety of plants as they relax in the sitting areas, which will be designed into the landscape. There are areas for ceremonies, allowing individuals to celebrate, grieve, & gather for life events that currently lack a suitable space, as well as areas for community events and classes

A venue like you have never seen before!

Our goal is to make the Sanctuary self-sustaining through these programs and services, and to create job opportunities for neurodivergent individuals. But to get the Sanctuary fund started, our founder, Holly, hosted a fundraiser featuring Fancy Pet Portrait Tattoos, where her clients donated the payment directly to Lucky Cats Rescue, and Holly then matched their donation from her personal savings—raising $40,000 in 2022. This fundraiser will be ongoing, serving as an additional source of income and funding for the longevity of the Sanctuary.

In one final step to see this dream become reality, Holly has pledged 100% of the profits from the sale of her condo, the original Cat Sanctuary, and Potato Palace. The earnings from the property sale, plus an additional $160,000 cash, will go towards the purchase of this property. With all that said, Holly does have a challenge for this community soon!
